Looking for seeds...... CA growers & beyond!

Hello again,

First I would like to thank those who have contributed seeds for our
California GPC site.  Again just a little history for those of you who may not
know who I am, my name is Zach and I assist in coordinating the GPC site in
Elk Grove, CA.  Each year we give away small packets of seeds (2 - 3 seeds per
packet) to anyone who is interested in attempting to grow Giant Pumpkins.  I
learned last year that our local California Growers were interested in helping
to promote the sport of Giant Pumpkin Growing and we are attempting to do just
that.  We have in fact printed news releases in a number of newspapers, sent
PSA's to local radio and TV, and are meeting the folks who run the FARM area
at the California State Fair to include Giant Pumpkins and a weigh-off as part
of the State Fair in Sacramento this summer.  Our state fair ends on Labor day
weekend and I know that is early for a weigh off but the idea is to get all of
the counties who participate in the fair to grow pumpkins to compete in the
weigh-off.  

This is where I need some assistance I AM LOOKING FOR ANYONE WHO HAS A SURPLUS
OF SEEDS THAT THEY WOULDN'T MIND PARTING WITH TO HELP PROMOTE OUR SPORT.  The
genetic make up of the seeds is not as important as the quantity. Our hope is
to expose as many people as possible to the opportunity to grow a giant
monster, and as you all know after they try  it once they will be hooked!!
Then the genetics will become important!  If you have seeds that you wouldn't
mind parting with please e-mail me our address and I will send a SASE as soon
as possible (Hopefully before postage goes up on 1/31).
