Regarding giant veggies for your
kids.......
I have some seed from a "giant bean"
that I used to grow years ago. This
"bean" (( gourd family I suspect))
grows to a length of 3 or 4 feet.
The circumference is about
18 inches. It is a "vivid" green in
color.... almost fluorescent.
it does well on a trellis.
The seeds look a lot like Dan
Carlson's long gourd seeds.
I have about 100 seeds in storage
but they are about 10 years old.
I will do a germination test this week
and post the results.
((yes Dan & Beth, I will mail you
some if they still germinate))

This variety is the 567.5 of "beans".

George,
If the germination turns out ok, I would appreciate a few seeds!
Thanks in advance.
