Do you think that crossing yours with my 567.5 Mombert x sef x self would be
good?
I think usually the inbreeding produces not go good fruits after awhile, but
purifies the genetic traits, then when you cross two inbred strains you get a
super hybrid with the BEST traits of both. (I think)? Anyway, if you think the
1006 x self would work good, someone from South Africa wrote and said they
have enough time to grow a couple more pumpkins this year (a little over 120
days until their frost date), so I was going to send them a couple of my
seeds, but needed another strain for them to grow to cross it with. I wicsh I
knew more about hybridizing to know what would be best to do. But anyway, how
many of yopur seeds to you have, do you have a couple to spare for this? Or do
you think it might be best to look for anoher more purified strain to cross
mine with? Or does mine need more inbreeding?
