Duncan,

I have very little knowledge about watermelons but have been somewhat
successful growing them.  I will send you some seed and hopefully you
will grow the biggest in the PNW.  Watermelons tend to do best with
evening temps in the 60's -70's.  In the Sacramento valley we tend to
cool down in the evening but they still do well.  I see they grow well in
Canada so its a matter of putting in your time before you get a big one.
