What exactly IS the point of the age separation thing anyway?!
Is that implying that us younger growers are not able to grow pumpkins as good
as older growers? That is not necessarily so. I mean pumpkins are 80% luck
anyway.
I know that I have practiced the same, if not more, techniques that are
standard for growing AG's as anyone else. Separating by age almost implies
that we need a handicap of some sort. A 12 year old could have more experience
than a 50 year old.
I know that I had to explain everything I was doing with the pumpkins to my
dad, who thought I was nuts, since I had mroe knowledge of AG growing than
him. So the only realistic way to group growers would be based on what
experience they have, like beginner, intermediate, and expert, etc. I mean
what does AGE have to do with anything, really?!
