Tom,
At first I was a strong believer in only one pumpkin per plant but
recent evidence is showing otherwise. In Don Langevin's latest book growing
giant Pumpkins II, they give several examples of people who have more than one
giant on a vine. I plan to go with 2 on each plant next year. It is always
good to have a couple of back ups just in case.
P.S. when are usually on line with aol. If I know when you will be on-line we
can send instant messages back and forth and have some more pumpkin
discussion.
