Re: mice bitting female


What I have done in the past for squirrels is, cover the female blossom
with a laundry basket, cut holes in the handles so you can then "cage"
the pumpkin until it reaches the size of a basket ball. This also will work 
with some woodchucks, but I recommend putting some weight on the basket to 
hold it in place. For mice find a tighter mesh basket, or cover it with 
tangle trap.
