To the list,
I have five pumpkins set on my mombert 937.
They are all on the main vine. The earliest one was pollinated 6/28/00 and the
others were 7/3 (two of them the same day), 7/5 and 7/8. My question is. Is the
one I pollinated on 6/28 going to ripen too soon for me to get it to a weigh-off
the first of October? It is now almost basketball size.
6/28 was 4 lobed and was pollinated with Rocky's
Lloyd 935.
7/3 were both 5 lobed and both pollinated with
Rocky's Lloyd 935 (thanks rock!!).
7/5 was 4 lobed and pollinated with the
Chekon 700.
7/8 was 5 lobed and pollinated with the Chekon
700.
Any thoughts 4 lobes as opposed to 5
lobes?
Thank-you,
Mark
