July 11th Status:
With 17" of rain falling in the last 40 days...this year has been very rough.
If the rot doesn't get us the SVBs will due to can't keep spray on more than
2 hours!
(Even when a sunny day is forecast!!!)
Anyways, I have divided the patch into 2 main sections....
The 4 plants that are the driest and still growing great and
The 4 plants that are NOT (much) growing and in muck.
The 4 great looking plants and their best pumpkin:
6/22/00 - 815 Checkon x 850 Hester (2 males) - 9ft- MV
- 62"x 46" x 50" (growing at 12+ inches of OTT a day!!!!)
(Circum/TB/SS)
6/27/00 - 837 Thorson x 815 Checkon (4 males) - 10ft - MV
- 45" circum.....BAD NEWS....100% GREEN....please please turn
orange!!!
760 Patrick and 850 Hester have small pumpkins (baseball+)....but have GREAT
Plant structures....so expecting big things :) Hopefully, next report.

6/24/00 - 772 Creuziger x 401 Bhaskaran ( 4 males) - 8ft - MV
- 48" circum
- plant slowly coming back.
6/24/00 - 401 Bhaskaran x 932 McIntrye (4 males) - 12 ft - MV
- 46" circum
- plant is not coming back well.
6/21/00 - 932 McIntyre x 850 Hester (3 males) - 7 ft - MV
- 40" circum
- No plant growth
6/26/00 - 594 Klema x 815 Checkin (3 males) - 8 ft - MV
- 33" circum
- small plant growth.
