Pollination Success
This is the first year that I have been able to pollinate at least one
pumpkin on all my 12 plants by July 15. Do not know at this time whether
the pollination was a success, but at least I was able to pollinate
them. The 693 Heyne was pollinated first on July 7 and as of this
morning, had a circumference of 28.5 inches.
The weather which has been warm and humid both day and night will turn
cool this next week. No rain is forecast, so maybe I will get to water
the patch after all this summer.
