 Wazzzzzzzzup? Hey Bob....welcome to the club !  If the female remains green 
for a couple weeks  after pollination then its likely to remain a squash. 
(Does this mean I won't be the only one at Amagansett with squash this 
year?). If it is a light green with darker green stripes then there's a 
better chance of changing,but I'd  start fixing up the spare room 'cause like 
it or not ....your expecting a squash....Glenn
