No hint of a flat vine on my 983.  An aggressive
lowrider plant with big leaves.  I have a 7 day old
fruit 11 feet out on the main. Perfectly round pale
yellow fruit. It's pollinated by the Calai dragon.

I did read somewhere that amoung other causes, a
microbe has been linked to flat vines in various plant
species.  There are some plants that are more
suseptible genetically than others.  Unfortunately, I
lost the url so I can't provide the link.
