hopper halved
I was feeling my oats, thinking my eye-hand coordination must have
returned to what it was a decade ago. When I discovered a grasshopper on
the soil near Raybie, my nearest weapon was the spade in my hand. I
carefully, but quickly, lowered it and sliced the bugger in half. Both
of them, as it turned out.
