This has been a FUNNY year everything that is happening just makes me
chuckle.
Now get this I planted a 986 Hester* (900.8 Lyons* sibbed) to get a squash
but it popped yellow Now my 547 Kournikakis (935 Lloyd selfed) has gone
recessive. Yes, I am getting a squash after all. My 791 Glasier (567.5
Mombert selfed and sibbed) has a pumpkin six days old and only 10 1/2 inches
in diameter sounds puny but yesterday it was only 6 1/4 inches, hope it keeps
it up !!
Now I looked into the 935 Lloyd and it has allot of inbreeding but only
one squash listed in its family chain that is the 509.0 Neily 1988, what does
that mean that somehow the Neily popped its head up again ?? another question
is should I self pollinate it again to further make the family tree look like
a stick ??? How interesting the equation becomes !! how interesting that the
three plants I am growing are selfed and sibbed.. Kind of makes you think !!!
well I have to go and ponder the patch !!! Take care all and any ideas would
be very helpful...
Thank you
