Glad to hear from you Al, the 608Wentzell seems to be a slow grower but mabye its just me getting overcome with anxiety. Have had a lot of vines split on me. Do you think that's genetic, or something that I am doing is the problem? I have two pumpkins set each on a main vine, both about the size of a large grapefruit. Both were pollinated 10 days ago. They seem to be growing slowly to me but what do you think? We have had some rather chilly weather the past week, if that would affect their growth. As for where I'm located, I live in Weymouth, which is about a 2 hour drive to Windsor N.S. home of Howard Dill. If you don't mind me asking where did you live when you were in N.S.?

The 608 has interesting ancestors.Is it doing well for you?
