Weird

As you all know by now I have all but given up the good fight, But when I
was taking out the 771.6 there was one piece of the main vine that had a tap
root about 3 inches around and I don't know how deep. On July 20th a pumpkin
was pollinated on the end of this vine it is now 8 days old and the size of
a softball. The vine is a single vine about 10 feet long and then it has
allot of new growth and the pumpkin. It seems to be getting new growth
everyday. What chance does this pumpkin have and is this what is called a
stump less wonder??
