Hi there,
I believe that I read that all female flowers should be pollinated. Is the reason because the plant "thinks" it has to produce more energy/carbohydrates?
There are numerous female blossoms on secondaries and not enuf males on other plants to cross pollinate--what do you do?
Also, if the biggest pumpkins grow on the main vine ~95% of the time, and presumably that's the one you'll keep, does it matter what you pollinate with on the secondaries?
Thanks! Bernie
