I got you there !!! Same thing on the 654 Troy I am growing. At a leaf margin about 5 feet from the trunk a secondary took off like a rocket same size and length as the main in three days. Realized it was a flat vine it is now splitting into two runners. there are other oddities this thing wants to reproduce more than a teenager. At one leaf margin I have six male flowers still in the one inch stage. I have Siamese twins with two distinct flowers and two distinct pistils connected to one flower. At one leaf margin I have had six tendrils, I have had leaves grow out the side of a vine between nodes with no flowers, roots or tendrils, Think this is weird my 703 has LEAVES behind the petals of the male flowers instead of sepals yeah like six true leaves behind the flower Weird huh... I am hoping to get another good one so I can take a picture of it with the digital so I can post it !!! will be taking pictures today so I can send some pictures to anyone interested let me know privately !! Take care all and have a wonderful season !!!! Have a safe fourth of July !!!
