I live 49 miles north of Sacramento and its damn hot here. I sprayed a product called Sun Shield on my Kennedy and my Hunt. It is supposed to put a thin coat, like a force field on the leaf's and fruit. It is labeled for squash but I am leery of using it on everything until I see how it works. It is supposed to let the plant breath and grow as normal but protect the leafs from sun burning. I will post the affect it has after a few days. I am still misting all day long and praying allot. I don’t know if it’s just me but the Holland 1049 has never begun to wilt. And the Pugh and Hunt also seem to be more heat tolerable, is this possible?
