RE: Heat Wave

I'm guessing you aren't using misters? This is my first year, last year was
a complete disaster, but I have the same problem and have been told it's due
to no misters. Makes it easy to weed during the day though. I see you are
using a "numbered" seed, I'm just using over-the-counter seeds, trying to
get in the hang of things.

One hundred seven degrees here yesterday. Some burning of the vine tips,
and I lost some wee pumpkins on the Stucker's secondaries, but so far so
good. Supposed to be hotter today, so I don't know.
The 922.5 Emmons has been droopy since she went into the ground.
Landlady Wendy says she looks like skirts on stalks. Every leaf is a
table for one with green tablecloth. Mornings & evenings she looks like
every other pumpkin plant.
