All,

Last year, we won a blue ribbon in our county fair (not a gigantic pumpkin like you grow…  just the same—a win!) This year, it doesn’t look so good… I ordered pumpkin seeds from Gurney that were back ordered and back ordered…. Then no seeds at all. Anyway, I planted the same brand of seeds as last year -- a month late. It’s July and I have pumpkins the size of marbles. Is there anything I can do?

Thank you!

You have to give them the best you can to get them going. Every couple nights hit them with fertilizer on the leaves and keep the main roots watered. You can still make it!
