Al,
I have used your average growth tables since 1996 and they have been an
excellent guideline for trying to figure out where my fruit might end up
come October. Thanks for sharing!
This is the information on my two biggest:
My first measurement on my 1096.8 was at day 30 @ 99 inches.
My 1061 numbers are:
Day 20 @ 99 inches
Day 30 @ 130 inches
The 1096.8 was very blocky and ended up at only 157.5 inches. The 1061 ended
up at 177.5 inches in circumference.

Perhaps we should be comparing the circumference by date to the final ESTIMATED weight and not the ultimate weight....The +/- to the chart is going to throw evrything off in your thinking.
I love Al's estimates.....because they give me hope up until day thirty. I hit his Eastern Ontario estimates every year but have failed to break 600lbs here on the Island ! I would love to hear an opinion on 10-20-30-40 day estimates for good pumpkins (not neccessarilly the 1100lbers) from consistent growers in Ohio, Pa, lower New York, or Indiana.........Thanks...G
