Barbara,

You may never see a female squash vine borer, she darts this way and that
way and this way, .... your chances are slim (if you are going to see her,
she will be darting about in the mid day when it is very warm, at least this
is the time I have always seen the female), but you may see her results if
not controlled in advance.  I hope you are using Warrior-T or Scimitar, it's
about the only thing I know that works.  I have tried everything else to no
avail and I have vine borer really bad.  This is my first year using
Scimitar, hopefully it will work.
