Bhaskaran Patch Update From SE MN - Ouch...my son is killing me! :-)

Howdy!
I have not been taking pictures...so no update on the web page yet.

My Plants:
723 Bhaskaran 01 - Has a slow grower...86" C at day 33....been gaining 1" C a day for 2 weeks.
691 Nesbit - has a bunch set biggest is 43" C day 17...slow grower also....lots set.
760 Patrick #1 - Looking good...has a 56" C at day 16....great shape...lots set
1230 Daletas - Huge Leaves!!!  43" C at day at day 14....lots set also.
912 Holland -  21" C at day 10.
760 Patrick - Nothing really set yet...or at least to the 10 day mark.
731 Stucker - 26" C at day 12.
847.5  Christiansen 01  - 83" C on day 29...slow grower also...has big split into stem area...not sure it will make it...very ribbed pumpkin from the start....the main vine turned into a bad flat vine 6-8" inches thick....did the best I could with it before terminating it....not often you can pollinate 3 females on the same node the same day!  Can't seem to set anything else.

My Son's plant (He is 10 years old):
I told him that the 910 Stellpflug and the 850 Wallace Cross might not produce a nice orange pumpkin...but he wanted to grow the seeds from his 910 Stellpflug last year.
It was 568 lbs when it split last year.  This year it is also growing at a great rate...105" C at day 31...253" of OTT...approx 333lbs.  Double anything I have!  (as he points out to me...Now when I get home...I hear..."can we go measure?"  ;-)
Interesting that this plant would NOT allow another pumpkin to set.

My Daughter's plant (She is 11 years old):
She also wanted to grow the seed from her 486 lber (official) last year...which was a 947.2 Patrick x 760 Patrick...so very very orange pumpkin.  However, typical "orange" genetics...slow to get going. 37" C day 13...she has lots of others to chose from...will be interesting.

I've been at this too long to not realize that at any moment, the pumpkin can go down....so enjoy them while they are growing!
