This lab does viral, fungal and bacteria testing. Call them so they know exactly what you want. Each test is about eighty bucks.

George, Ive had this problem the last 4 years. The leaves on the ends of the vine turn a pale green and stop growing then turn a copper color and works its way back the vine. It usally starts when the pumpkins are set and start growing. I started a new plot 100 feet away and the pumpkins got the same virus or disease. This year me and my brother had 11 nice plants all have died but 3. This year I tried subdue on 3 plants and root shield on 4 plants. My 3 remaining plants are the ones I used root shield on. Time will tell if it helps. If anyone knows a place they test the soil or plant for this problem please let me know. Im going to try growing AGs one more year before I give up.--------------------------------------------------------------------- Pumpkin-growing FAQ: http://www.hort.net/lists/pumpkins/search.cgi To sign-off this list, send email to majordomo@hort.net with the message text UNSUBSCRIBE PUMPKINS
