Hey George,
I have about 100 sparrows here at any given time and
they have never touched a pumpkin leaf yet...maybe I have em trained well.

Do you have House/English Sparrows, Purple or House Finch's? All of them
will eat Pumpkin leaves House/English Sparrows do the most damage because
they
are usually the most numerous.
