RE: SVB and Burying vines

If burying vines, the key is to do so BEFORE SVB's are in your area or AFTER
you are sure there aren't any eggs on the vines. SVB's will lay eggs on leaf
stalks, tendrils, leaf to stalk joints, etc, places that can't be buried.

Mark
(who is on his way out to check every inch of vines, stalks, etc for MORE
SVB eggs. If you need pics of eggs & where to find them, let me know, I have
many.)

Does anyone know if burying vines helps protect them from the SVB ? Once
vines are buried they cannot be protected by pesticide application right ?
Any thoughts on this ?
