Heart Like a Wheel - A Patch Update

Butterball turned 10 days old this morning. She has almost
doubled her weight since her 9th birthday, and now is a
whopping 7 pounds of pure gold with a heart shaped like a
wheel. Didn't quite make 24" in circumference but still a
respectable size for day 10. I think I'll give her a calcium
shake today to celebrate...

She's sitting pretty - 17 feet out on the main vine of my 831
Zunino plant. Check out her stem - it's longer than she is:

My other plant Baby Beluga (1230 Daletas)is still wallowing
ponderously in the patch, growing slowly with huge leaves and
thick cantankerous vines. It probably covers 350 square feet
now. I pollinated a football shaped female 15 feet out on a
secondary I'm training as the main vine yesterday.

There's something about this plant that makes me think I'm in
for a whale of a surprise sometime before Halloween. I don't
what it is... she keeps making these low pitched melodious
rumblings as she slowly makes her way through the choppy waves
of the patch...
