Another use for the fruit

My cat seemed a little constipated so I took her to the vet today. The
vet recommended psyllum seed OR cooked pumpkin. She swears by the
pumpkin (the vet, not the cat), says it's pure fiber and the cats like
it when it's mixed with their canned food.
Has anyone tried this?
