questions ???
I have three plants, one per mound. Presently have 6 female blossoms
starting at 9 feet from main root. 2 on one plant, (the main vine)and one
each on theside vines, then one on each of other plants main vines.
Have about 7 feet of vine covered with compost,planting mix. Appear to
have rooted as leaves growing well. Up to 22 inches across on leaves.
Vines vary from 9 to 14 feet. Am feeding miracle grow, fish emulsion and
12-12-12 fertilizer. Making arrangements with elevator owner to custom
mix 19-30-19 fertilizer. Planning to change to 19-19-30 when fruit begins
to develope. Appreciate any comments , suggestions. I live in the norther
upper east side of Michigan .can any one from Michigan tell me what my
plants should be doing and about fertillizers ? all comments from anyone
would be appreciated. I am a frist time grower and would like to learn
all I can. Thanks Sue ps. my female flowers have not opened as of yet.
