Re: 110 degrees in Kan. :(

OOOOPPPS this is what the temps were
The official high for yesterday was 98 degrees, My temp on our digital
indoor/outdoor
thermometer was 105 degrees, in the shade.
The patch is doing all right but the heat is taking a toll on pumpkin growth.
It has been over 100 degrees every day since last Saturday,
and I thought last year was unusually hot,this is getting ridiculous!!!

    pollinated. Two with my help the other was on its own.  Does anyone have
a
    good source for netting to cover the patch with shade?
    Any ideas something cheap.
