RE: Large, brown dry spots


Have you sprayed anything lately? Seaweed, Fish, other fert, pesticides,
etc? I may have the exact thing you're talking about & always thought it was
burn. It's usually dry & brittle & shrunk, as if it's shrinking a section of
the leaf, like a v-shape, say, like from 7 to 8 o'clock on a spade (of a
card deck, not shovel), like a pie slice. For me, it usually happens on
medium to large sized leaves within the last 5 or 6 ft of the end of the
plant.

Thank you Vince.  I had looked at Bob Troy's sites on bacterial growth and
couldn't find anything that looked similar.  That would make sense because
of the 105+ degree weather that we've been consistantly having up here in N.
