Does it appear and then continue to spread or is it a one time burn event? I
would tend to think if you burned areas of the leaves like the edges and small
puddle areas on the leaf the damage would show up and be over. If its a
disease it would continue to spread within the leaf and from leaf to leaf over
time. Dont confuse spread within the leaf with the changes of the dead parts over
time...darkgreen/grey turns to brown crispy which gets wet and gets raggy or
floppy (scientific terms I swear!) and its not spreading...just different. Once
its burned the rest of the leaf should be ok.......G
