still have over 60 days to the big weigh-offs, so don't count us out!

my first female by hand yesterday morning and am so thrilled, I used two
males from one of the other pumpkin vines and one from the one the female
was on. That is all that was open at the time. I used a nylon sock to
cover them with the night before like I had read and it worked
wonderfully. I am so excited, I know it is probably a little late to get
the big ,big, big pumpkin, but next year thanks to all of you I will be
ready to get the big one. We had such a long freeze season this year was
still having frost the second weed in june so didn't get them in the
ground until after that. Thank you all so much for everything you write
