Howdy!
Hope everyone is doing fine...we've had a below average temps in
July...nights in the lower 50s! However, the last few nights have been back to
normal.
I did cover the pumpkins with blankets and that seemed to help not slow them
down too much. Sunday's are my big "measurement" days and to reflect on the
week, month, season ;-).
Anyways, I just have 1 pumpkin that is going great, but of course is
developing problems...but it gained 118lbs in 4 days(1092 Daigle)...which is
very good
here in MN! So pinch me!! ;-)
Here are my Sunday Night numbers to end July:
#1 1230 Daletas - 296" OTT, day 41....534lbs +138lbs for the week
#2 430 Bhaskaran#1 - 283" OTT, day 39....468lbs +111lbs for the week
#3 1105 Stucker - 270" OTT, day 36....408lbs +128lbs for the week
#4 654 Troy - 261" OTT, day 40....369lbs + 103lbs for the
week
#5 1092 Daigle - 258" OTT, day 30.....358lbs + 180lbs for the
week!!!
Note: Getting big stem splits..so there is a price for 4-30lbs days in a
row!!!
#6 430 Bhaskaran#2 -252" OTT, day 34.....334lbs +101lbs for the week.
Note: MV burned off, so running from a secondary vine.
#7 501.5 Beachy - 90" C, day 31....204lbs +100lbs for the week.
I have taken pictures and will update my web page, probably not for a few
days. (Need to get a digital camera! :-)
