Matt,
Warm temps really are your friend when growing Ags. Why is because its
easier to cool things down than warm them up. We have been having really
hot weather here in Calif. In my area 100+ day after day and the pumpkins
move only because we mist..... During the day and it creates a growing
forward environment. Thats the trick------ Here where I live nights are
cool to cold ----------had some freak weather and hit a very rare 65 in the
morning and the pumpkins loved it! So figure how to manipulate the heat
during the day cooling to 85-90 and you will see results........... If you
don't cool them down during the hot spells then its shifts to just plain
survival...and not much forward growth.
