RE: Storm damage, What to do?
Mr Boyce--just take a knife and slice off those leaf stalks near the vine.
It's not serious and your plant will soon make up for the foilage elsewhere.

Hello,
I am a first year pumpkin grower. Today one of my plants was damaged by a
heavy thunderstorm. Two of the BIGGER Leaves near the stump on the main
stem were broken off leaving 1" hollow holes to the main stem. Is this
serious? Any suggestions about what I should do? The plant's main stem is
about 10 feet long with eight nice secondaries about 3 to 4 feet long.
Thanks in advance..
