Re: yellow tips
Alan
I had that this year too on my 658 Emmons not sure if it was a genetic thing?
I have it on a few of my plants at home but just on a leaf here and a leaf
there. what it could be is that some bugs stick there feeders into a plant and
secrete a toxin that Mush's up the chlorophyl and then they suck it up. when
you see yellow spots that is actually the color of the leaf the green is the
chlorophyl that is Masking the true color. if the chlorophyl is gone then the
color shows through ... its kinda like this.. some plants have white markings on
the leaves and other plants have red or some other interesting color. the
white is a typically a Virus that has inserted its self into the plant tissue and
when you see the "Variegation" it can be a very desirable thing But where you
see white or cream color that is actually the Absence of color/ chlorophyl. if
you see a red color like Burgundy Philodendron or Purple leaf Plum that is a
color Masking the Chlorophyl the chlorophyl is still there it is just Masked
by the color !! Get it ?? Hope this helps !!
Kevin and Zane !!
