White spots
Novice grower in Ky. experiencing strange mix of success and failure. I
started with 3 plants from commercial purchased AG seeds. Plants grew nicely, set
fruit on all three.
Amazing to me how fast these things grow. 2 out of 3 seem to be doing nicely,
one pumpkin at approx 27 in. circum. rotted on the vine and the leaves on
that vine started dying. I pulled that vine completely today. I am starting to
notice little white spots on the leaves of the other two vines, both of those
still look healthy, except for the white spots. Largest fruit now 63 in circum.
The second vine seems to be developing a fairly major split in the main vine,
just past the pumpkin. Any ideas what is going on and what should I do at this
point? All suggestions appreciated.
