RE: pumpkins DIGEST V1 #5


I have several secondaries flat vining.  It is very strange, as all the
others are normal.  I have one plant that has normal secondaries on one
side, and several with flat vines on the opposite side.

We speculated as to cause, effect, cure.
I now have more information to fuel your speculation:
I started 5 plants for other growers/ other patches.
3 of the 5 flat vined.

2006 Summer Picnic August 19, 2006
Registration is due by August 9th 2006 (We will NOT accept phone call
reservations)

The annual NHGPGA summer picnic will return to the home of Jim and Susan
Beauchemin this year. Once again we will be starting at 9:00am with the
patch tour buses leaving by 10:00am. We will return by 1:00pm for a prepared
feast.

Pre-registration Deadline is Wednesday August 9th - We need an accurate head
count for this years summer picnic. Therefore you must send in your
registration and money to us by August 9th.

One of our Special Guests will be Larry Checkon.....

Serving: This years menu will include a good old fashion Pig Roast.
Hamburgers and hotdogs will be available for those who wish. Also, assorted
salads and deserts will be served.  So if you haven't already done so, mark
your calendars, send in your registration and plan on making it to this year
s summer picnic.

Mail that half of the page to Sue Beauchemin with check or money order is
the only way to register this year.

Please note there are two different people handling these two items (RAFFLE
& PICNIC) so they need to be mailed to two different addresses.
