RE: Side viners
Just curious, but at what point, or day I should say, do you start counting? Do you count the day of pollinating, day 1? I ask only because you mentioned "starting at 25 inches'..I was wondering if your pumpkin was that big at the time of pollinating..in which case I am VERY jealous.

Both of my 981's are doing quite well, one hit 79" circ at 20
days and the other 79.5" Starting at about 25" circ, they both
gave me 5" to 6" circ almost each day to day 20. One is tall
and round like the mother and the other is long and lean and
the spitting image of the father...
