Pumpkin question

I have a question about one of my pumpkins.  My largest pumpkin (approx 300 lbs) has developed little pinholes that are weeping liquid out of them.  They are all over the pumpkin.  Is there anything I can do for this problem?  Or is the pumpkin doomed?  I have never seen this problem before.  I had a vine split once that started oozing all over the place, but not a pumpkin.  Any help would be appreciated.
