Pick the fastest growing pumpkin as long as there's no other problems with
it. 20" at day 8 is no problem at all, you may put on 6" in circ. in 2 days.
Keep the plant and pumpkin healthy and stay with it. "Be" with it everyday
and anticipate any problems occurring, keep the vine angle good and the vine
coming up with the pumpkin, but very slowly daily like 1/2" a day. Any
splits put on some captan or 3336. Don
