Sclerotinia white mold is a disease that results in a foaming white exudate.
Can you email pictures detailing the goo?

A fair amount of white thick goo-like substance is oozing out from
underneath
my Giant Pumpkin stem.
I'm concerned with it rotting the stem, and harming or killing "My
Precious."
Anyone have any insights into what this could be?
