hi - i'm noticing a lot of the blasted Japanese beetles flying around the yard, sure to be a bumper crop of grub worms soon. I've got a bag of GrubEX to put on the lawn to put a dent in the grub worm crop. Just wondering if it was ok to use this stuff near the pumpkins? I assume it would be.
Also, I saw some bifenthrin granules at the local Ace hardware but not sure if that would be preferable for combating various bugs here in the Boston area. i've got lots of grubex - not sure if it would do the job as well.
Also, is it ok to let the grubex pellets fly around the pumpkin leaves, etc. or does it cause problems?
Same thing for bifenthrin - if I should use bifenthrin what's the best way to apply it?
