Re: Disappearing Buds


Pickle worms will do that exact damage, however; 1) it is a little early in
the year to see them, even here in the deep south and, 2) I'm not aware of
Pickle worms making there way to the Pacific Northwest.
If I'm not mistaken (I personally do not use Triazicide), Triazicide is a
Pyrethroid (Type II I believe) which means it will work on these and many
other "worms".  However, as Triazicide is not systemic, if in fact you have
some variety of worm, he was shielded from your spray by being within the bud
itself.
