It's Alan!? Here's my reply. Yes, I have a greenhouse on the side of my home in CT. It was killing birds left and right as the flew around the house into the glass. I cut and installed lattice on the inside of the windows. Still let the light in, but looked to small to the birds to fly through it. So, I figured it has saved a lot of birds life's. Does anyone remember the TV show that had that kid learning the ways of the Masters? They had a saying for fighting.? Never kill if you can mane, never mane if you can just injure, never injure if you can walk away. I just won't kill by choice. If there is any other option, I think it should be pursued. "There but for the grace of God go I " ...and, "I won't draw blood over a pumpkin."? I've trapped so many I can't count. I've lost a lot of pumpkins, but I feel I made the right decision. Think of the song, Man in the mirror. (Micheal Jackson) If you don't know it. Get it and play it. I have no trouble with what I see.
? ? ? Alan Reynolds??? FL, CT

to me. I too am sorry if I offended anyone especially Alan who I know hates

Alan Reynolds was offended but that's just Alan. He cries when a bird flies
into his window. LOL
I used to compost the raccoons & squirrels on the edge of the patch then
turn them in the following season.
We're at the top of the food chain for a damn good reason & I have no
intention of giving that pole position to a pumpkin killing varmint.
Don't worry about Alan. We're good friends but I'll stand up to him any day.
