My main plant (Geerts 894) continues to grow well. The main vine is now at 16 feet and the secondary span 16 feet near the main root. There are a few female flowers developing and I expect one on the main vine to open any day now. There are a lot of male flowers available for pollinating. I had hoped to do some cross pollination off my backup plant (Greer 1006) but so far only one male has opened and no others look likely to do so in the next few days. The weather for the rest of the week looks great. Sunny and warm. Bill Kournikakis Medicine Hat, Alberta
