I passed the information to pumpkin mailing list. There are so many variables to consider in determining the amout of water. If the mailing list or the archive can not provide a good answer, I will do my best to support you. http://www.mallorn.com/lists/pumpkins/search.cgi -- Duncan McAlpine, Federal Way, WA m*@eskimo.com Why buy plants when you can grow them yourself.....? http://www.eskimo.com/~mcalpin/ http://www.eskimo.com/~mcalpin/pumkin.html

I was wondering if you could give me some advice on how much water to give your giant pumpkin plants? I have soaker hose around my plants and a 300 gallon tank of water (gravity fed) that I can regulate. The only problem is that I don't know how much water I should be giving them. At this point I do NOT have a female pumpkin set ...but it won't be long. Please email me back as soon as possible THANK YOU! D. Stocker dds@tusco.net
