Problem: New growth on the tips of most of the vines have partial yellowing. Then as the leaf matures it turns brown and crisp. This is has been occurring on about 25% of the leafs. No cuke beetles in site. Vines continue to grow and females are opening up this past week. Could I have a soil problem? I have sprayed with Diazion 3 times this season. The last application 2 weeks ago. It has been raining daily here for the past 2 weeks with temps in the 60's most of the day. Weather is improved the past 48 hrs. The attachment is a picture taken on Wed. 7/9/97 of a Solomon 728 and if you look closely you can see the yellowing . Now those areas are brown and crisp and if touched they crumble. Any input or help is appreciated. Shellie Cramer- Olympia mcramer@olywa.net
